Σύντομο βιογραφικό

Ο κ. Πάνος Λώλος γεννήθηκε το 1972.  Σπούδασε πολιτικές επιστήμες και διεθνείς σπουδές στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο ενώ έλαβε Μaster of Arts από το North Carolina State University των ΗΠΑ και MBA από το Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς. 

Από το 2000 έως και το 2001 εργάστηκε στην ΑΒ Βασιλόπουλος Α.Ε. -θυγατρική της Delhaize Group S.A. που αποτελεί βελγική αλυσίδα λιανεμπορίου τροφίμων.  Από το 2001 εργάζεται στο χώρο της βιομηχανίας έχοντας θητεύσει σε θέσεις που αφορούν τις πωλήσεις εσωτερικού και εξωτερικού της ΧΑΛΚΟΡ Α.Ε. –κορυφαίου Ευρωπαίου παραγωγού που εξειδικεύεται στην παραγωγή και την διανομή προϊόντων χαλκού και κραμάτων χαλκού με δυναμική εμπορική παρουσία στις Ευρωπαϊκές και τις διεθνείς αγορές.  Tο 2020 ανέλαβε τη θέση του Γενικού Διευθυντή του Τομέα Διέλασης Χαλκού και Κραμάτων της ΕΛΒΑΛΧΑΛΚΟΡ Α.Ε. ενώ σήμερα κατέχει την θέση του Γενικού Διευθυντή του Κλάδου Χαλκού της ίδιας εταιρείας.

Ο κ. Λώλος είναι εκπρόσωπος της BUSINESSEUROPE στο EU High-Level Industrial Forum, το οποίο συγκεντρώνει προσωπικότητες από τη βιομηχανία, τις δημόσιες αρχές, την κοινωνία των πολιτών και την ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα, δημιουργώντας μια πλατφόρμα ανταλλαγής ιδεών και επιρροής στη διαμόρφωση της ευρωπαϊκής βιομηχανικής πολιτικής. Είναι, επίσης, πρόεδρος του Συνδέσμου Βιομηχανιών Στερεάς Ελλάδας, εκτελεστικό μέλος του Δ.Σ. της ΕΛΒΑΛΧΑΛΚΟΡ Α.Ε., εκτελεστικό μέλος του Δ.Σ. της Sofia Med A.D., μέλος Δ.Σ της ΕΑΔΕΠ Α.Ε., του ΣΕΒ -στου οποίου την Επιτροπή Διεθνών Σχέσεων προεδρεύει-, της Ελληνικής Παραγωγής-Συμβούλιο Βιομηχανιών για την Ανάπτυξη, του International Wrought Copper Council, μέλος του Advocacy Committee της European Metals, καθώς και εγγεγραμμένο μέλος του Οικονομικού Επιμελητηρίου της Ελλάδας.

Διαθέτει 25ετή εμπειρία στη μεταποίηση και ισχυρή δέσμευση στην προώθηση και υποστήριξη θεμάτων που αφορούν τη βιομηχανία σε εθνικά και διεθνή fora. Έχει ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για θέματα ενέργειας, τεχνολογίας, ανταγωνισμού, διεθνούς εμπορίου και κανονιστικών ρυθμίσεων. Πέραν των θεματικών που σχετίζονται με την βιομηχανία, οι δημόσιες παρεμβάσεις του και η αρθρογραφία του στα ελληνικά και τα αγγλικά σχετίζονται με την οικονομία και τις ρυθμιστικές πολιτικές.

Short bio

Panos Lolos is a Greek citizen, and he was born in Athens, Greece in 1972.  He holds a B.A. in Political Science & International Studies from Panteion University, an M.A. from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of Piraeus.

From 2000 until 2001 he worked in AV Vassilopoulos S.A. -a subsidiary of the Belgian food retailer Delhaize.  Since 2001, he joined the heavy industry having an experience in the domestic and exports sales of Halcor S.A. (https://halcor.com/ ) -a leading European manufacturer that specializes in the production, processing and marketing of copper and copper alloy products with dynamic commercial presence in the European and global markets.  He undertook the position of the General Manager of the Copper and Copper Alloys Division of ElvalHalcor S.A. (www.elvalhalcor.com ) -a public listed company in the ATHEX and a subsidiary of Viohalco S.A. (www.viohalco.com )- in 2020 whereas today he holds the position of the General Manager of the Copper Segment of the same company.

Panos is a BUSSINESSEUROPE representative in the EU High-level Industrial Forum which brings together leaders from industry, public authorities, civil society and academia, creating a platform to exchange ideas and influence Europe’s industrial direction . He is also the Chairman of the Association of Industries of Central Greece (www.svse.gr ), executive member of the BoD of ElvalHalcor S.A., executive member of the BoD of Sofia Med A.D.  (Home ǀ Sofia Med), member of the BoD of ΕADEP S.A. ( https://www.eanepoa.gr/ ), the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV | Hellenic Federation of Enterprises)- in which he holds the position of the Chairman of the International Relations Committee-, the Hellenic Production-Industry Roundtable for Growth, (ΑΡΧΙΚΗ - ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΠΑΡΑΓΩΓΗ ), the International Wrought Copper Council (International Wrought Copper Council - ) and a member of the Advocacy Committee of European Metals (https://www.europeanmet.com/ ), while he is a registered member of the Economic Chamber of Greece (https://oe-e.gr/en/ ).

Panos has an experience of 25 years in manufacturing and a strong commitment to advocate industrial-related issues in national and international fora.  He has a strong interest in energy, technology, competition, international trade, investments and regulation.  Apart from industry-related topics, his pubic presence and his published articles in Greek and English are related to the economy and the regulation policies.
